Payment processing platform Stripe acquires Bouncer to power their Fraud Detection Tool 

Payments giant Stripe has acquired Bouncer, a startup based in Oakland. The acquisition is to power Stripe Radar, an AI-based anti-fraud technology toolset by Stripe. Stripe will be integrating Bouncer’s technology and the team for the security goals


According to Simon Arscott, the business lead for Stripe Radar “Bouncer is a great tool for modern internet businesses. It allows them to quickly identify stolen cards, while also ensuring legitimate customers can transact without being blocked,”

CrowdStrike and Google Cloud enter Partnership to boost Hacker detection in the Hybrid cloud

Cybersecurity technology firm CrowdStrike enters a partnership with Google Cloud and plans to launch a series of seamless product integrations to boost security against hackers, workload protection and give better visibility in the hybrid cloud environment.

According to CrowdStrike- CrowdStrike’s Falcon shall integrate with Google Cloud’s security products like Chronicle, VirusTotal Enterprise and Google Cloud’s SCC (Security Command Center). The integrations will help maintain high levels of security across a customer’s entire cloud or hybrid environment.

Datalogics Launches cloud-based PDF processing products on AWS and Zapier

Enterprise Document Management Technology, Datalogics has launched its new cloud-based PDF processing products on the AWS (Amazon Web Services) and Zapier. The new cloud offerings includes a robust ‘pay-as-you-go’ Application Programme Interface (API) and an app (on Zapier)

Datalogics was previously known for their PDF processing products through command-line applications and Software Development Kits(SDK) and so the expansion to the cloud marks an exciting next-generation move for them as it provides Datalogics users with the same enterprise-grade document management processing capabilities to create, edit and convert PDFs.

Amazon Web Service launches AWS SaaS Boost as an open source project

Amazon Web Services(AWS) finally launches AWS SaaS Boost after teasing it at ‘re:Invent 2020’. AWS SaaS Boost is a ready-to-use open source reference environment that helps you as an Independent Software Vendor (ISVs) accelerate your move to Software-as-a-Service (SaaS)

Adrian De Luca, who is the Head of Partner Solution Architecture, Global ISV Build Programs at Amazon Web Services (AWS), says in his blog- “Our objective with AWS SaaS Boost is to get great quality software based on years of experience in the hands of as many developers and companies as possible. Because SaaS Boost is open source software, anyone can help improve it.”

Global technology firm Zoho Corporation donates Rs 5 Cr to tackle COVID-19

Global technology firm Zoho Corporation has contributed a sum of Rs 5 Crore(Approx USD $682K) to the Chief Minister's Public Relief Fund to fight Covid 19 in the state of Tamil Nadu.

They have also helped the state by providing oxygen supplies and other medical equipment to various hospitals supporting patients from the economically weaker section of the society. The supplies and medical equipments is approximated at around 13 crores (around USD $1.7M )
