Sydney-based SaaS company acquired by US-based Criteria 

Alcami Interactive, a Sydney-based SaaS provider, has been acquired by Criteria, a SaaS people analytics software vendor based in the United States. As a part of the acquisition, Alcami will provide Criteria's solutions to its customers in APAC. Criteria wants the businesses to be completely incorporated by 2022.
Alcami's software has a user-friendly interface, enhanced diversity and inclusion capabilities, and the ability to handle between pre-recorded and live organized video interviews.

Cisco to invest $3-5 million in Indian ‘enterprise SaaS’ start-ups 

Cisco is planning to spend $3 million to $5 million in Indian enterprise SaaS start-ups in exchange for a minority interest.
When asked what proportion of the investment allocation is direct, Pankaj Mitra, Director and India Head, Cisco Investments & Acquisitions said, "You will find that we make more direct investments than indirect investments." When you look at Cisco internationally, you will find that we have more than 120 active portfolio companies and 45 LP funds all over the world. As a result, we seem to gravitate toward direct investments.”
A few of the start-ups in its portfolio in India include Whatfix, Videonetics, Mobikwik, Mobstac, and CloudCherry.

Lenovo Launches a new SaaS tool in India for Smarter PC Fleet Management 

Lenovo, a global technology company, announced the introduction of Lenovo System Intelligence, a new Software as a Service (SaaS) tool, as part of its comprehensive service and offering portfolio in India. Lenovo Device Intelligence is a cloud-based SaaS offering that can help in not only diagnosing PC problems, but also detecting possible machine errors before they happen.
Lenovo is running a try and buy deal for businesses as part of this launch, including a 60-day testing period before making a final buying decision.

Diligent to Become Largest Global GRC SaaS Company through Galvanize Acquisition

Diligent Corporation, a digital governance firm with a platform used by over 700,000 board directors and executives across 19,000 clients, announced the acquisition of Galvanize, a world pioneer in SaaS governance, risk, and enforcement (GRC) applications.
Diligent will become the biggest SaaS GRC supplier upon acquiring Galvanize.

Mainspring launches SaaS platform for title and escrow

Mainspring Services, a title and escrow software provider, has announced the introduction of “titleLOOK,” a software-as-a-service application that streamlines the title creation process. The operation, according to Mainspring, alleviates a huge headache for lenders, underwriters, and customers.
According to Mainspring, the SaaS program supports PDF and DOC file styles exported by any development software. Also it hyperlinks the report to the related search papers, summarizes title anomalies, scores reports, and notifies users of curative activities. The provisional and dedication files are then immediately released and sent to consumers and partners in real time.
